-ahem- My setting search world

For those of you who have already downloaded my 1-pager, entitled Ruins of Empire: Gannis from Enworld's setting search page, I was wondering if anyone could give me some feedback. This is something I've been plugging away at for awhile, and I've contemplated the self-publishing route. But I'd like to hear what people other than my players think about it. And if you haven't downloaded it yet, here's the link:
Ruins of Empire: Gannis

Anyway, thanks for the hits and for the help!

Thanks Jurgen, I'm going to check that out.

BTW, I checked out Urbis. Nice. Living there must be ... fun. How do you get people to live in those cities though?

Well, first of all the life force drain is rarely higher than "moderate" unless you run certain neighborhoods like prisons - which does happen in some regions (most notably the Lands of the Dead).

Second, why do people move to the cities? Same reasons people move to the cities today - there are simply no economic opportunities elsewhere. Most of the rural regions is owned by city-based merchant houses, and they just don't offer all that many jobs in the outbacks.

In the city, you have at least a snowball's chance in hell of making it big...

A good comparision would be European cities during the industrial revolution, or any Third World nation today. People flock to the cities to seek their fortune, and usually find only misery. Despite this, more people keep on coming...
