[QUOTE="Carnifex, post: 279487, member: 227"] Hi Crothian! Thanks for the ideas! I do like the idea of using souls to make cheap magical weapons - consider it used! However, rather than adversity between the efreet and baatezu I was thinking more of an alliance (At least outwardly, though of course backstabbing and one-upmanship behind the scenes). The two main antagonists I intend to have as an efreeti prince, possibly wanting devilish aid to gain power for himself, maybe taking over the City of Brass from the current efreet ruler. Ther other one is actually a group, the Chromatic Cabal, consisting of a number of powerful abishai devils: White: Sorcerer/Monk Black: Wizard/Rogue/Assassin Green: Fighter/Wizard Blue: Cleric (Tiamat) Red: Wizard In order to ensure that they don't have insanely high CR's I'll be only giving them HD, attack bonus, saves etc from their class levels though they'll get the normal abishai special powers etc. I'm still not quite sure about how to kick-start the campaign though. In a way I'd like to avoid having the PC's all enslaved straight off, but perhaps rather have them end up in Baator or the City of Brass through perhaps foiling some minor plans of the efreeti prince or the Chromatic Cabal. What I need though, is something for the enemy to be doing on the Prime Material that wouldn't involve an enemy too tough that would just kick the backsides of a band of level 1 PC's. Any ideas?
