Message: <blockquote data-quote="StreamOfTheSky" data-source="post: 5184203" data-attributes="member: 35909">Heh, only the spellcasters are left.  My friend and I were looking at the PC list before you cleaned it up and figured the group didn't need any roles covered in particular.  I was planning to use the Shadowcraft Mage I never got to enjoy past level 10 in a previous game, he was going to break out his Scott Summers (Cyclops) inspired Scorching Ray blaster....  If you would rather get a skill character/ trap dealer and/or frontliner, I guess we can build characters for that, instead.Otherwise, my character will be able to summon just fine, and he could always make a Battle Sorcerer based around Combust for close-up damage dealing and tanking to help plug holes in the party.We are starting at level 14 with level 14 gold, correct?  The site still says level 12, just making sure.For approving prestige classes, my current plan is to start as Illusionist 5 / Master Speicalist 4 / Shadowcraft Mage 5.  Master Specialist is in Complete Mage, Shadowcraft Mage is in Races of Stone.  Planning to use <a href="http://www.d20srd.org/srd/monsters/gnome.htm#forestGnome" target="_blank">Forest Gnome</a> for the race (Shadowcraft Mage is Gnome only) and the level 1 gnome Illusionist racial substitution level.  Also planning to trade the familiar for <a href="http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/classes/specialistWizardVariants.htm#chainsofDisbelief" target="_blank">Chains of Disbelief</a>.  Also wanted to grab Spontaneous Divination from Complete Champion (swap level 5 bonus wizard feat to spont. cast divinations you know).  But that's not really important to his illusion casting if you don't allow that book, just extra versatility.Not sure what I'd do from there, I might just stay in Wizard for 5 levels for another feat, since he could use the bonus feat badly.</blockquote>
