Erik knows only that the architecture is reminiscent of the old Kingdom of Istallya, which used to rule the whole of the lands upon which both the Republic of Berandal and the Johak Empire now reside, as well as many lands beyond. The ruby from the staff is nearly identical to the one which is set into the amulet. Erik recalls that the ruby has had some magical significance throughout history."He believes... amulet is the key... but not the key... it is she... Awna is the true key... must be saved..." With this the spirit stands up. His image is a gory mess. Blood pours from his empty eye sockets and ears, and his skin is pallid and gray. However, as he becomes aright, the color returns to him, and his wounds close. The blood stains remain upon his ghastly visage, but his eyes return and the sockets cease to gush blood. Soon, a veritable transformation is complete and he stands before you a true corporeal being once again. The being walks gently over to Krawlinstar, "Gentle priest of the sun, you and your companions have drawn me back from Limbo and I am grateful.
