It provides concealment (-2 to hit) to any within and is considered difficult terrain. The trees provide cover (-2 to hit) for any behind them with respect to ranged attacks but not melee attacks. Tree squares cannot be occupied. The water in the fountain is calf-deep for medium creatures and is considered difficult terrain but offers no defensive benefits. The walls are hard cover, i.e. you have to move all the way around corners; the same is true of the fountain.</p><p></p><p>Begin Round 2, players' initiative.[/gm]</p></blockquote><p></p>
