The archer from the west (Ar2) dives into the nearby scrub and takes a shot at Amicae from within (natural 20). The arrow drives into her abdomen causing immense pain, but she is still capable of fighting despite the wound (14 damage and bloodied).</p><p></p><p>The scouts try to move into flanking position. One of them (Sc2) just barely manages to hobble around to Petron's side and manages to shake off the debilitating effects of the poison as the other scout (Sc1) comes up from the back and slashes at Petron once with each weapon (AC 26 and 21). His longsword finds a chink in Petron's armor and gouges him, though it is merely a flesh wound (13 damage), but the short sword cuts deep and Petron finds himself gravely wounded by the double assault (16 damage).</p><p></p><p>Meanwhile the hunters press their attack against Krawlinstar as he tries to use the bushes for concealment (AC 24 and 18 after concealment).
