It's a ripoff of Alarums & Excursions, the original RPG zine.

Lee Gold started it in 1975 and as far as I know she still publishes it to this day. Total legend in the world of gaming, kind of uncool to make something with such a confusingly similar name.

At least Asylum has it within their legal rights to do what they do. Not so sure about Dave and company. They definitely don't own some of the trademarks that they're using (e.g. Greyhawk).

Repeatedly violating others' IP while threatening to sue anyone who they think uses there (including stock art).

They do seem to like throwing threats of (IMO, baseless) lawsuits around, yeah.
