Alea Publishing Group is proud to announce their development of an entirely new game system that will eventually transverse all aspects of gaming: The 2d6 String System. Alea Publishing Group retained permission to use this game system mechanic from its original creators of its initial platform: Luke Peterschmidt (Guardians, Warhammer 40K CCG) and Brom. Many might remember the ever-popular CCG, Dark Age: Feudal Lords where warlords battle one another in a post-apocalyptic earth setting. It is the game system's ingenuity and simplicity of using a 2d6 format that drew Alea Publishing Group in picking up the torch where FPG, Inc. left off. We have retained permission to further develop the system in a RPG and to redevelop it into a CCG as well. Our initial plans are to create an atmosphere where characters from the CCG can become NPCs (allies, villains, or both) in the RPG simply by using the card. We would also like to stress that this is not going to be a collectable RPG - meaning that you will not have to buy the card game to play the RPG and vice versa - they will be separate in the own right, but will also be able to use the system interchangeably should you wish to do so. So be on the look out at our Alea Publishing Group and in our bi-monthly magazine, Poor Gamer's Almanac for more development details.
