If she renounces Pelor, she becomes Unaligned instantly, even if she continues to help kittens out of trees and escort old ladies across the street.(It is of course possible that if the cleric of Pelor starts murdering people in the dead of night, Pelor might decide to sever her link to him. In that case, likewise, she becomes Unaligned.
