All men must die, but you can leave them a flower.

Sure he'll be missed. And I am kinda curious what the actor's going to do next. He played this so well. You had to hate him.

He says he's done with acting. He had acted in roles as a child actor in previous years which he'd considered a fun activity, but with his experience with Game of Thrones, he admits its a lot more work than fun. Apparently he is quite a scholar and wants to pursue higher education, perhaps even becoming a college professor as his ultimate goal. He runs a puppet show with fellow students, so he might continue entertainment at some level, but he says he's done as an actor as his primary occupation. Jack stated as much even during interviews during the first season of GoT. So while he is sad to not see the rest of the GoT cast, he can now concentrate on his scholastic goals.

It's wrong, I know, but he could make a good living simply charging people $50 to let them slap him, or $100 to do it on camera. Go to Dragon*Con, and in a couple hours have enough cash for a year's tuition.

He was a great character and very well portrayed by the actor. His death will change the story (hell, I've read the books. I know it changes things.) but stories need to progress. And yeah, I do get why people would be leaving him flowers: sometimes you really really love to hate a character. People will miss the catharsis that he provided.
