At that point it’s hollow words and just a way to score social feel good points that lead to no change at all except maybe that person feeling a little better.  I’ll also note that necessities like food/water or unavoidable like participating in society are clearly different things than non-necessities and avoidables, like not buying iPhones.Yes it’s a meme, but one I see way too often and it’s soo very very wrong.
