Alpha Omega RPG

A thread here on ENWorld directed me to a podcast, and I happened to notice one of the sponsors had a RPG game I'd never heard of called Alpha Omega. After drooling over the site and the page samples therein, I'm mighty tempted to purchase the book just for the sheer gorgeousness of it.

However, trying to be practical, has anyone heard of this game or even run a few games of it? I'm curious to know how it actually plays.

Here's a link:

It seeemd overly complicated. I'll see if I still have the book later today to give some specifics but I'm not sure I kept it.

I got seriously caught up in the ARG the developers used to advertise Alpha Omega during the run up to its release.* The webpage and books look downright amazing but the setting looks like an absolute mess: there are angels and demons and half-human hybrids of the former....and sentient animals...and mutants...and cyborgs...and hybrids of all of those....and magic...and machine guns...and psionics...and everybody appears to be fighting for some reason.

* For a while people conflated it with the advertising campaign for Cloverfield, which got AO a ton of publicity from unlikely sources.
