Message: <blockquote data-quote="scourger" data-source="post: 2471962" data-attributes="member: 12328">Yeah, Omega World and Judge Dredd are the 2 d20 games I'm even interested in anymore.  I count JD as post-apoc in flavor, especially the elements outside Mega-City One.  But OW is the best I've found so far.  I ran a sweet OW campaign using the adventures from Alternity Gamma World.  I liked it so much I bought an extra copy and gave another to a friend.  He ran a game that sadly hasn't been offered for a while.  Of course, I've played and run Rifts.  My buddy ran 2 Rifts games.  I played in one for a couple of years.  They were all pretty fun, even though one was short-lived.  Another one morphed into OW, which was great by me.  My own game turned to the DragonStar rules and then to OW before it fell apart.  Our weekly group is playing Systems Failure now.  Me and the other DM played a Hell on Earth mini-adventure from the free Savage Worlds Test Drive 4.0 rules today.  We had a blast with it.  I'll probably run it for the group in 2 weeks as a filler game.   Hopefully, it will encourage another player to resume his old HOE game with the new reloaded rules due this fall.The PA genre is just fun to me.  It presents all the struggles of a fantasy game with respect to resources without all the complications of magic.  The world needs exploration even though familiar.  Plus, gun-fu is fun; especially when you're trying to save ammo.</blockquote>
