You at the end are worldd warping fantasical power...But what if the orginal grey hawk players sat down to lay 4e (or soon 5e) would the warlord/battlecaptian/legendary king play just as important of a role as the wizard/battlemage/archmage? and if so how diffrent would it be.Look at the realms, we have the 7 sisters, if the ranger and the wizard can both end up being just as badass, how diffrent is that history?Even the stories of D&D had linar fighter and quadratic wizards, how diffrent would those setting look in a more modern game?</blockquote>
