Alter self makes two statements about natural attacks which seem to contradict each other.
First it says you gain the natural attacks (claws, bite, and so on.) So far, so good.
Then, it says that a body with extra limbs does not allow you to make more attacks than normal.
So, which is it? What is "normal"?
Specific examples. A protectar sorcerer alters self to become a xill. How many claw attacks does he have? 1? 2? 4? Does it matter if he iterates (thus changing his "normal" attacks.)
A vampire sorcerer alters self to become a ghoul. What natural attacks does he have? Claw claw bite is more attacks than "normal", yes?
Last but not least... a griffon sorcerer alters self to become a five headed hydra. How many bites? 1? 3 (same number of natural attacks)? 4 (include the rake)? 5 (heads aren't limbs)?
Help?
