Alternate PsiHB PrC's?

I seem to remember Monte or Bruce or someone putting out alternate versions of the prestige classes offered in the Psionics Handbook. Any know what I'm talking about, and more importantly where I can find them?

Though, for my money, Bruce became perhaps a bit too enamoured of the "+1 level of existing class" mechanic, or perhaps just felt like doing the design exercise of applying it to all of these classes, as I don't really think they all needed it. The metamind and pyrokineticist did, but I'm downright skeptical that the other two aren't better in the original version, since they're not really targeted at pure single-classed psions anyway.

it looks like the alternates aren't quite alternate anymore... they've replaced the original versions as core in the d20 srd

are you sure there still there? i dont see them. i know they were up for about 2 or 3 days...

wow... maybe malhavoc decided to ream them out for their creative property like wotc reamed everyone else out... either that or wotc figured they might want to shift back before someone started making any complaints towards them...

the open gaming liscense is attached to the alt PrCs, so i figure theyre open content. i think the problem was someone put some unsolicited content up on the SRD website that wasnt supposed to be there, and thats why it was taken down.

but thats just pure conjecture.
