Message: <blockquote data-quote="Arkhandus" data-source="post: 1742742" data-attributes="member: 13966"><p>I still love 3E and prefer it over 3.5, though I'm forced to play mostly 3.5 games right now because none of the DMs I know are still running any 3E games. :-(  Thus, I am forced to play 3.5 whilst I bide my time.....I have to use the SRD and my DMs' books for 3.5, and I hate that.  I'm not going to waste time converting my 3E books to 3.5, nor waste money buying 3.5 books (aside from a few books that I might consider worth converting from 3.5 to 3E, like maybe the Draconomicon or the Expanded Psionics Handbook).  I'll only run 3E games myself, and I only play in 3.5 games that started out 3E and converted afterward (since I don't want to give up playing with those groups, as that would leave me DMing and never actually playing).  Eventually, I'll turn my groups away from the dark side of 3.5 and back to the light of 3E, but until then, I can only bide my time and make do with the meager and troublesome playing of 3.5 whilst DMing my own 3E games......  I invested enough in 3E books and I'm quite content with most of them, houseruling the tidbits that seem broken, but not nearly as much as I'd have to do if converting to the vileness and stupidity of 3.5's pointless changes (and, on the note of vileness, the printing of the Book of Vile Darkness is reason enough for me to scorn the idjits who made 3.5).</p></blockquote><p></p>
