Will we see another Dungeon Dive soon? Maybe one without a Roper?

Actually, yes. Dungeon Dive 4: The Necromancer's Lair and Dungeon Dive 5: Dragon Caverns are in line for production after I finish up the Diamond Gulch adventure I'm working on. (And I can personally guarantee that nothing mentioned above will contain a roper. :p )

I've noticed that in all three you have included hazards as well. If you want more hazards you should talk to Phil at Ronin Arts. He has a bunch of releases that might have a hazard for you.

I think you should throw a roper in just for Mark!

You don't have to on my account, I've bought one of the dungeon dives and reviewed two other and generally like them although having all three you start to notice certain monster (Ropers, gibbering mother) patterns.

I would love to have dungeon dives have more OGC monsters for ToH or ToHII because these guys just don't get out enough.

Ah, I see you're anticipating the yet-to-be-announced Dungeon Dive 6: Roper Madness, in which every creature has either the half-roper or roper-touched template applied to it.

To address Mark's astute critique, though, I do recognize that I may have over-used some of my favorite creatures. I'm aiming, in future Dungeon Dives, to deliver a wider variety of creatures. The suggestion of creatures from ToH and ToHII is especially good, since they're open content, and I can reprint the entire entry for people who might not otherwise have access to those products.

Also, I do use hazards quite a lot, and I must confess that I own all of Ronin Arts' many collections of hazards (even the d20 Future ones). Phil, I suspect I'll be contacting you for permission to use some of the hazards in those products for upcoming Dungeon Dives. :D

See, I am completely in favour of a half-roper template like maybe a half-roper otyugh. (otyughs being one of my favourite monsters, though they seemed better in earlier editions of the game.)

Would a roper-touched creature be an opponent with 0 Str?

Nifty! I finally found your stuff when I checked out RPGEdge. I was thinking of picking some up. Now I might have to get all of them. :D

If you do, I'd be very interested to see what you think of them.

Keep in mind that they're intended to be very utilitarian. The goal of the products is to create an intelligently designed, pre-populated dungeon, to which a DM can add his own plot and flavor. As far as I can tell, nobody else has ever done something like it :) .
