I forget that thrift stores can sometimes have really good stuff. I found this, hidden on a crowded shelf among the puzzles and boxed board games, at Goodwill of all places. It cost $9.99.
That's right, the Hollow World Campaign Set. It was still in the original box, and the previous owner had even included HWA-2, "Nightrage," which I don't think was originally part of the set. The poster-sized maps are all unmarked, and the books are complete with no missing pages, tears, stains, dogears, or highlighter marks. I'd say that all of the books are in "Good" to "Very Good" condition.
The box was in pretty rough shape, though. But hey, it did its job (protecting the contents inside). I'll do some careful repairs on it, and it'll be fit for my collector's shelf.
Granted, this is not a "high demand" collector's item...but finding them all in one place, and in this condition, for a ten-dollar bill? That rules.
