Amazing Stories Episode?

I know this technically isn't an RPG question but it is related to fantasy and I'm hoping some RPG'ers will be able to help.

Back in the 80's I remember watching an episode of a series that I thought was Amazing Stories in which a kid has a next door neighbor who is an old guy (Andy Griffith?) and IIRC he goes over and visits because the guy has good stories or old collectibles or something like that. Then at the end the dead start coming back to life or something like that and the old guy turns out to be a vampire.

Does this ring a bell with anyone? I've reviewed the summaries of all the Amazing Stories episodes and none of them match so it must have been something else. I don't think it's Tales from the Crypt because I thought that show came later.

Anyone recognize this episode?

Assuming it was in color, it could be an episode of The Outer Limits.

Others to check out would be The Twilight Zone, The Night Gallery or Tales from the Dark Side

As a longshot, it could also be an episode of Friday the 13th: The Series or Kolshack, the Night Stalker.

The more I think about it, the more it rings a bell to me. Its NOT Night Gallery or Friday the 13th: the Series...I'm leaning towards it being New Twilight Zone or The Outer Limits.
