Amazon.com fails to sense my mood

So I checked my Amazon recommendations today. My first page was filled with 4e products. I clicked "not interested" and refreshed. It refilled with a bunch of 3.5 products I skipped the first time around. Sorry, Amazon. No go.

It's kind of funny... Amazon's targeted recommendations make a certain level of sense, but it kind of breaks down when interest polarizes within a genre.

Amazon is clueless. After sending two different customer service emails, one of which basically ended up turning into a forum thread in my Inbox, with me basically losing my cool... and my preorder being so totally FUBARed it wasn't even funny... Amazon DARED to recommend some 3.5 products.

What I'm annoyed about is that Amazon insists that True20 Revised edition ships in two weeks when I've been waiting over a month for a shipping notice because when I ordered it it listed as ships in 2 months.

Uh, you know it's software doing that, based on your previous buying habits, along with what you've reviewed and what you've looked at recently, right?

There's no "DARE" involved, unless software can show some chutzpah.

I chuckled when, after the delay was a reality, I got an e-mail with "Summer books", so I got something to read.

Cruel humour.

I know. I was trying for a bit of humor. Should have used the :close: icon.
