I think the D&DOne announcement is hurting sales of 5e products at this point, especially the negative response from YouTube and Twitterati and not just the Grognard crowd. The post pandemic slump is affecting everything so it’s mitigated a little but these can’t be numbers that Hasbro or WOTC are happy with if it’s reflective of the trend in their order numbers. Especially with the lackluster response to Spelljammer which probably had high expectations after the last several products launched so well and with all the tie in products including an album (not a pleasant listening experience) and the investment of products from Wizkids on top of their normal output. To then get hit with the negative backlash that they did isn’t good for them. Makes me wonder if anything has seen a bump as a result? I know PF2 started trending and OSE has brought some focus back to OSR and DCC has seen some but maybe the latter is just my personal algorithm.</p></blockquote><p></p>
