[AMBIENT] Domains of Divinity & Librum 3 Contest

Hey, I'm gonna do this one kind of informal-like, right?

Just a quick run-down of our upcoming releases from Ambient Inc, those hoopy froods who brought you the Award-Winning Portable Hole Full of Beer (this product contains no alcohol).

Our next release ALMOST slipped under everyone's radar, it's a PDF under the current title of "Domains of Divinity". Focused on all things divine, this book features well over 100 clerical domains (the list is approaching 200 domains now), sections on totemic magic and voodoo loa, feats and a pile of core and prestige classes. I'd give a release date, but one of the wonders of e-publishing is that sometimes stuff comes together a lot faster (or slower) than expected.

Some time soon, expect to see a Librum Equitis contest. We'll post up the full rules shortly, but it's going to be like the WotC prestige class contest, except the top two entries get a free book as well as their entries into Librum Equitis volume 3 or volume 4, and other winners will get into the books and receive free PDFs from Ambient Inc. More details are forthcoming, honest. :)

mid-to-late November will see the release of the Kid's Colouring Book o Critters, Celebrity Edition. This book takes our original Kid's Colouring Book o Critters (by Chrystine and Genevieve Robinson, the two youngest published d20 writers and illustrators), and adds in additional material by many masters of the industry - including new illustrated monsters from Looney Labs, Todd Morasch and Greg Dent from Bastion Press, and a virtual army of other names in the game industry. A full press release for this book is forthcoming from our CEO, Denise (who is in the process of compiling the last material for it).

Librum Equitis volume 3 will introduce our first setting-linked prestige classes. We have a prestige class designed for ThunderHead Games' Bluffside (and maybe one for their upcoming Sands of Pain books, but that will most likely be in LE4), as well as one using the Prestige Race mechanics from Bastion's Oathbound setting (that we are totally in love with).

After the release of Librum Equitis volume 3, expect to see either our psionics module Jungles of the Mind or our d20 conversion of the deadEarth RPG. Which comes first depends on licensing issues and time on-hand for us. But between those two releases, we'll release Librum Equitis volume 4, another 20+ prestige classes.

What else is in the future of Ambient Inc? Considering that I've just listed our releases into 2003, who knows.

I'll try my best... but page counts are something I can't estimate for e-releases. Cover art is a long way off for most of these right now. Pricing is dependent on the quantity of interior art that goes into each one. We have soem artists working on them as we speak. So really, what I guess I'm saying here is that all you are going to get from me are the writers names. All of these books have additional material by other parties, but the primary writers are being listed here.

Domains of Divinity - by M Jason Parent.

Librum Equitis volume 3 - by M Jason Parent.

Kid's Colouring Book o Critters (Celebrity Edition) - by Chrystine & Genevieve Robinson

Jungles of the Mind - by Denise Robinson & Jason Parent

Librum Equitis volume 4 - by M Jason Parent

deadEarth d20 - by Denise Robinson, Jason Parent, JT Smith, Chris Hagness

and one more I forgot:

Son of a Portable Hole Full of Beer - by M Jason Parent and company (a LOT of the material is submissions for this one!)

How about a resounding...

I Don't Know.

:D

Unrpofessional? Sure. But I'm working on three projects right now, and we'll see when this comes together.

-and fill us in there on things in development before November. Mystic Eye has generously donated a print copy of the Librum Equitis and I'm sure attendess will be interested to hear more (just in case this miss threads in the d20 pub forum.) :)
