Yep. They are pretty common in my homebrew. It's a very cosmopolitan setting. There is an elven and dwarven homeland, but only because player's often write backstories that include that sort of thing. More typically, the races are scattered throughout the lands. I don't even have a separate pantheon for each race, everyone worships the same gods. The main reason we didn't include them in the book was for time reasons. It would take months to generate 4 stat blocks and flavor write ups for six additional races (1920 stat blocks). Assuming we could ever stay motivated to finish, and be sane if we did. ;) Luckily our general rule applied here, more or less. Humans have the fewest racial adjustments (arguably half-orcs have fewer, but who would buy a book of half-orc NPCs) so there is less work to removing human adjustments then adding those of another race than starting with elves or dwarves for some of the stat blocks. We actually bandied around the idea of including additional races for some of the entries (Dwarven crafter, Elven hunter, etc.) but the extra work combined with the frustration of having users look for an elven crafter and only finding those darn Dwarves. Or worse, looking for a Wood Elf and only finding a High Elf. We knew that we couldn't please everyone, so we figured that we would do it in a way that would inconvenience everyone the least. If anyone wants to pay me to do a book for each race I'll consider the offer. But to be honest I'm really sick of NPCs right now. Mike
