Another series dealing with additional classes for D20 Modern is Modern Kyuujinjouhoushi. The name comes from Japanese job guides. We get a "help wanted" section covering a few pages in the back of a newspaper, they get these monstrosities the size of telephone books! Anyway, the series provides new basic, advance and prestige classes. Most experiment with various ideas to apply to the game. For example, magic and psionics are light switches you can flick at 4th level. So MK introduced two new basic classes meant to ease into the 4th level switch to a magic or psionics using AdC. MK introduced a third basic class that tweaks ordinaries. The series has produced three different takes on Gun Fu: the hollywood based Action Hero, the Hong Kong Action Theatre based Kowloon Gun God, and the real world modern gunfighter, the Gunfight Disciple. It introduced the Ritual Zealot, designed for the GM who wants to have fun intentionally waffling back and forth on the decision of adding FX to his campaign. There's the Streetfighter, a very nice effort to simulate real world boxers. And the Wackenhut Man in Black takes a serious look at an urban myth from the mundane side of the story. Next up is the Military Motorcyclist, thanks to two armed motorcycles covered in Big Bang Ricochet. During the research, the author noticed numerous distinct skills military riders have been trained in over the last 75 years and decided they could be quantified into a new military AdC, suitable for WW2 or the present. That one will be available later this week. This will lead you to more detail.
