Message: <blockquote data-quote="WizarDru" data-source="post: 868811" data-attributes="member: 151">Great episode, but....huh?  We get this big build-up that Cordelia is important to Jasmine's well-being, and the 'maybe cordy can harm her' theories...and it turns out to be a non-issue?  Why waste the time on it, if it isn't?  If you're covering for CC pregnancy, that's spiffy....but I think they oversold it, unless there's more to the tale coming.Connor is on his way to being Season 5's big bad...sort of.  I did like his justification for following Jasmine, actually.  It's probably the first time we've seen Connor really display some sort of rationale to his thinking that held any water, for me.  Poor Angel, he knows the kid's bent, but like a good father, he hates the sin and loves the sinner.  No fear about him being too happy now, is there?I liked Jasmine lifting the car.  I'm wondering how much the world will react to the events of Jasmine's reign, or will they gloss over it, which would bug me?  I'm not expecting drastic changes to the world, but the occasional nod about the event and maybe a notice that things are a little different than our reality would be kind of nice.  I mean, maggoty-Jasmine was seen all over the world, apparently, and that means that millions were privy to her...granted, only those in Cally would have been under her control...but the rest of the world would have noticed the creepy behavior of the folks out there.  And whatever else you might say, the rest of the nation is going to tend to notice when every sentient being in one of the most populous states in the US goes wiggy.  (That being an invitation to avoid the classic/tired 'those crazy folks in california' joke that someone is readying even now).</blockquote>
