I enjoyed the show, though it reminded me just how much I hate season finales.. damn those cliffhangers, have to wait soooo long now to find out whats going on. :( Assuming its even renewed! For the first time, I truly felt sorry for Connor.. I enjoyed his presence on the finale and the sad/happy way in which it ended, though I think the director spent a bit too much time "rotating" around his new family life - it didn't take long to get the point. Now I'm confused by the whole W&H thing. Why would they leave? They were killed off by the Beast as a step toward Jasmine eliminating chaos in the world, and establishing herself as the kingpin. But the Beast and Jasmine are both dead now. Why wouldn't they just go back to doing what they used to do? Or are they trying to say that everything they did up until now was to try to prevent Jasmine from creating world peace? Anyways, other comments. This episode reminded me of how much I love Wes as a character. He has developed so so far from his watcher geek persona. The dynamic between him and Lila is great and very well pulled off by bother characters. I'd have to say that scene in the filing room was my favorite of the episode. Anyways thats a lot of rambling. It'll be interesting to see Angel on Buffy next week. Though again, I wonder why W&H would want to help him, unless the first evil is another enemy of W&H. Before I go... :) just had another thought. Perhaps the senior partners are sort of new kids in town, relatively speaking. It seems that there are far older entities around - the beast, jasmine, glory, the first.. interesting. Anyways, I'll now remove my fan geek hat and continue with my morning. :)
