So I have an animal I want to add class levels to. It's got the right ability scores for the class, but its Int is 2. I'm not sure that's high enough for a class level, right?
However, in Pathfinder I can't find a rule that SAYS that a creature needs 3Int or higher for class levels.
ALSO if the creature gains class levels (Bestiary 1 p.297) I add +4 +4 +2 +2 +0 -2 to its stats, as desired. If I added that to, say, Int, I could then add class levels anyway.
So for an animal, in Pathfinder RAW, can I add class levels without a 3 Int?
(and yes, as soon as they get 3 Int they're no longer an animal, I know about that (animal traits Bestiary 1 p.307))
