Animethon 11 is the eleventh annual Japanese Animation (anime) festival held in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Animethon is the largest anime festival held in Western Canada, with yearly two-day attendance of over 3,000 people. The festival is designed to be a free event for attendees of all ages, from children to adults. We show a combination of older classics, brand-new material straight from Japan and popular favorites for both the new viewer and the hardcore anime fan.

This year, we are asking that the fans of Animethon donate a minimum of $5 to the event, to help keep the event free for the public. With your donation, you'll receive a special piece of identification. This identification will get you into the dealer room before it is opened up to the general public, as well as other special benefits!

We're also interested in making Edmonton a better place. While general attendance is free, we ask that all attendees bring a donation for the University of Alberta Campus and GMCC Student Association Food Banks, to help the less fortunate among us when they are in need. Non-perishable items only, please.
