The deadline for submissions to Asgard issue 7 will be July 15th. I would like to hear what people want to see. I'm thinking of having an issue themed around alternative campaign settings, in light of WotC's setting search. Thus, I'd like to see a lot of ideas proposed that take some of the common themes of D&D, change them around, and elaborate on them. Also, it would delight me if somebody could come up with one or two more games, akin to those presented in Tournaments, Fairs, & Taverns. As for my own work, you can expect another in the long line of prestige classes I mentioned in my various fake class books. So far we've seen the High Sorcerer, the Feyspeaker, the Ley-Line Magus, the Taranesti Sword-Dancer, the Crescent Island Spellsinger, and the Edgemaster. I plan to include another one of those, but most of my efforts are currently directed to finishing up D20 Supers, and working on Mythic Earth. I'd like to see a few less prestige class submissions, since we get a whole lot of those. Feel free to send along some fleshed out house rules, a cool NPC, a magic item or three, some new spells, or even just an article to help people roleplay. Finally, I'm going to be scouring the boards over the next month or so, and the best threads will have a few tidbits lifted from them and included in Asgard, with their authors' permission. Hopefully that will encourage you to have some cool discussions in the next few weeks. Remember that all work submitted to Asgard is wholly volunteer. Your reward comes not in money, but in the pleasure of a job well done, the approval of your fellow gamers, and perhaps a few XP from your DM. So, as a note to DMs out there, give a few bonus XP to any player who submits an article to Asgard, okay? It's the only incentive I can offer.
