First of all: I suck at math.
Im searching for a simple, userfriendly calculator. One that you can: add how many players that are involved in the encounter, add a specific CR and press a button and see if it´s to tough or to easy. Preferably a calulator that can handle one or two bigger monsters and several smaller. And it have to be 3.0.

I wonder if there´s some other calculator out there based on the same mechanics?
On a different note:
I´m planning to run "Speaker in Dreams" and I´m not sure about the various EL:s throughout the adventure. An example is the fiendish elasmosauros (CR 5) wich seems pretty weak if you compare that version with the SRD version where it´s a CR 9. How come?
