Thought I should post the authors name and a brief summary to see if I can get anyone else interested. Author, Greg Costikyan The first book is about a DnD party going into a dungeon to get rich, getting rich, and then fighting off half of thier home city when word gets out that they're rich. The party has a dwarf that carries far too much equipment, two thieves more interested in looking out for number 1, a barbarian swordsman who is the only really good fighter, and is a moron, a recently graduated, minor noble of a fire mage, who arranged the expedition, and really likes fire, and cleric of the god of drunkeness, who is usually drunk. The second book is about the statue which the adventures found in the first book that caused all the trouble with people trying to steal it. They have to go on a quest into the lands of the evil overlord to do something, don't want to spoil it, and end up stopping several revolutions, including an uprising in a city called Hamsterberg (whose national animal is a hamster). The books are littered with jokes and funny situations, and stuff you could see your dnd party doing if they ran into the same situation. Although often times the situation is something that would never happen in a dnd game, like smuggling your loot though customs. Eldorian Antar
