when i first started gaming my sister tried to tell my parents that we were gambling. she saw the dice and heard the talk of gold pieces and assumed we were speaking in code and playing some hideous multi-dice form of craps.

i was young and my parents were concerned, so my dad sat in to observe a game.

his conclusion- "nothing that boring can be detrimental"
