I have another Greece question that I've been unable to find the answer for. What was the area that Mycenae controlled. For instance Athens controlled Attica. I'm playing in a post dark ages campaign and I'm trying to find what the now abandoned area would be referred to as by others. Thanks.

Mycenae is in the Argolid. But I think it shared control with Argos.

The people whose capital was at Mycenae were the Achaeans.
