I hate to look a gift horse in the mouth... and generally, I do try to be optimistic... but is that really what people were looking for? Granted, I'm not DMing Scale of War, so perhaps I'm missing something. Nevertheless, will a plot synopsis that light be enough?

I found it a waste. I mean it was nice to respond (and RB deserves credit for that) but it didnt really say anything a DM could plan with or avoid going way off AP. However, I feel more and more this AP isn't for me or my group. Maybe for fill in games or just some encounters. Which seems to be the WOTC 4e plan for products. Which isn't bad, just not what I wanted in an AP.

Agreed. For me it's not enough, but this just might be a case of taking what we can get. I agree that it really isn't enough for a DM to use, it helps a little (a very little), but it's missing some things (like names and brief description of recurring characters, etc.). However, it does give me a very general idea as to what I can do in between the AP adventures without throwing off the overall AP.

It's got possibilities, but I think I may still need to wait until more of the adventure path is out for it to be useful for me. I think I might want to tweak the overall plot.

I just want to say though, that I am glad they listened and responded in the positive (at least a little bit). I don't want to fuel the flames of those who have been waiting to jump in and say "told you so, anti-WoTC people will never be satisfied no matter what they do". Especially since I'm neither anti-WoTC, nor "people";). So: Thank You WoTC and Randy Buehler.:)

Now, if they would just include full page, Hi-res, keyed and unkeyed maps with all of the adventures, and full paged art and handouts, I'll be ready to buy my subscription. Until then it's, probably, still no sale.:(
