I hate to look a gift horse in the mouth... and generally, I do try to be optimistic... but is that really what people were looking for? Granted, I'm not DMing Scale of War, so perhaps I'm missing something. Nevertheless, will a plot synopsis that light be enough?
Agreed. For me it's not enough, but this just might be a case of taking what we can get. I agree that it really isn't enough for a DM to use, it helps a little (a very little), but it's missing some things (like names and brief description of recurring characters, etc.). However, it does give me a very general idea as to what I can do in between the AP adventures without throwing off the overall AP.
It's got possibilities, but I think I may still need to wait until more of the adventure path is out for it to be useful for me. I think I might want to tweak the overall plot.
I just want to say though, that I am glad they listened and responded in the positive (at least a little bit). I don't want to fuel the flames of those who have been waiting to jump in and say "told you so, anti-WoTC people will never be satisfied no matter what they do". Especially since I'm neither anti-WoTC, nor "people"

. So:
Thank You WoTC and Randy Buehler.
Now, if they would just include full page, Hi-res, keyed and unkeyed maps with all of the adventures, and full paged art and handouts, I'll be ready to buy my subscription. Until then it's, probably, still no sale.
