Well good luck with the game DM_Jeff! (1) Keith has always held out for there not to be official pronunciations for Eberron names. But he has said that in his won campaign, the locals called Cyre SEE-ree, whereas the Karrns called it SIRE, etc. Basically go with what your players feel comfortable with, and call any discrepancies 'local accents'. :) (2) I have an Heir of Deneith in my group. So far I haven't made any specific call about the attitude of others to the House Deneith. Except that in Darguun, the heir was still most welcome - even now Darguun sends its sons and daughters into battle on behalf of the House. And in my world Deneith lost control of border patrols and customs duties. Partly it's that the House is so large and influential, and the only major source of mercenaries. Though it does, I think, explain why so many Warforged were purchased. (3) So far I have only used Eberron specific adventures, though that's just for ease of use. I think a great many adventures can be transplanted into Eberron with some planning. The one problem I tend to see is a lack of a large number of nations - many Dungeon adventures are predicated on adventures in out-of-the-way nations which Eberron lacks. Still a bit of fiddling gives you a great many smaller territories on the islands that surround Khorvaire or make up the Lhazaar Pricipalities.
