Antilife Shell and Spell Resistance

Helios618

First Post
How does Antilife Shell work with spell resistance? When a creature with spell resistance tries to move into the shell, does the caster have to make a check to overcome spell resistance? If so, do they have to make a check every time the creature tries to move in (or attack), or if it passes, the creature can't get in at all?

Thanks in advanced!

Yes, you would check spell resistance for the creature when it first touches the antilife sphere. If successful, the spell does not affect the creature for the duration of this casting. If the spell resistance check fails, the creature is affected for the full duration of the spell.

In either case, the spell is not dispelled.

See the Rules Compendium p.130 or the Dungeon Master's Guide pp.298-299 for details.
