I'm new to DMing higher level adventures, and I had a couple question concerning antimagic field. They have probably been answered in the past, but I don't know/couldn't find the answers - hoping some else does.
When a dragon that is larger than 30ft casts antimagic field, part of him is left un covered by the field - can he cast it as second time to cover the remaining portion of his body, or does the fact that the spell is "centered on the character" mean that the second spell will appear in exactly the same spot?
The spell also has a range of 10 feet, which seems to imply to me that the spell can be cast upon others. However, the spell has no saving throw. Given that the party wil be magically flying hundreds of feet above the ground when they face this dragon, that could cause the fight to be over awfully quickly for at least a couple of the characters - am I interpreting the spell correctly in that regard?
