Re: Re: Come get some! Hello mate! :) To be honest I actually had that equipment determined before you posted your party's stats (I knew you were going to take Sure Striking weapons as standard issue so I thought I would level the playing field - I second guessed at least two of your party would be humans; I assumed one dwarf; one elf and two humans). I do seem to recall saying we could choose ANY items up to our wealth allowance. However if you wish me to concede the Arrows of Slaying I will do so...? No big deal. No I tend to always play good aligned types - this was just a way to 'let my hair down'. Equally its hardly likely I would play a 1st-level deity. So knowing that I was - I presumed the character would work to his strengths just as your characters have done. Since he won't have many hit points (relatively speaking) the obvious approach is to avoid getting hit. No point in a deity wearing armour. With defense sorted you then turn to attack. With such a high dexterity it would be silly not to take advantage of it with a ranged weapon. A mighty longbow takes advantage of the characters high strength as well. The character is evil so poison is de rigeur. Since generally only mortals carry weapons that can hurt the deity he would probably concentrate on dealing with mortals; of which humans are generally the most prevailant nuisance - hence the assumption that arrows of human slaying would suit such a character. Though as I mentioned I am more than happy to concede the Arrows of Slaying if you wish...?
