I got alpha access during the KS. For our group I talked about a few options with some of them, Ember was an option, but in the end, we didn't go for it, and in retrospect I think that was a good call, better wait until it's done, done. As such, I haven't DMed in it. I do install the latest versions and play around with it for a bit sometimes more then others, but my overall feel of Ember is that it's the most advanced (Foundry) VTT module for adventure/campaign/setting that has been released to date. Heck they even had to rewrite parts in FVTT to make Ember work! It might be one of the next campaigns I DM in the next decade... The Crucible system was always going to be on a far, far lower priority then Ember 5e. #1 the system was not really even in a really playable state, and I'm not talking about the FVTT implementation, but the actual system. #2 the person working on this is also the person that's working on the main Ember module and FVTT v13 and V14... I think they're focusing on Ember 5e first, with the occasional Crucible update (just enough so the main dev doesn't go insane).... Talent tree => Path of Exile, we need more options, and more levels! And I doubt I'll ever play Crucible with our group, maybe one session to try something different, but there is so much more that I want to try before Crucible, that I doubt we'll ever get there. The Vista's module is interesting, yes it's more work, but it's similar to what we did in FVTT D&D5e, use the side tokens on a scene that doesn't have a map, but a side view of a location. The advantage with Ember is that they already added it in, so scenes that use it have already been made for you. How well it eventually works depends I'll see when it's done, already so much has changed from the initial build, that I wonder how it will look like when it's released on final. The time, seasons, and weather system is extremely impressive for a VTT module!
