Any good 2-player character modules?

Are there any d20 (especially D&D) modules out there that are geared toward having 2 PCs? We have one GM and two players who would like to play, but the GM isn't experienced enough to re-configure stuff meant for 4 PCs.

Just thought I'd ask.

Thanks!

I'm not aware of any specifically for 2 players, but I would suggest running modules designed for characters a few levels below the PCs as they only have half the base line number of characters and will miss out on some interparty synergies.

Tomb of horrors. Extra people won't help you. ;)

Or Keep on the Borderlands - the first time I ran that, it was one on one, though I had two characters. A fighter (Boris) and a wizard (Altalazar) - and the fighter fell down a pit trap in the first cave and died in the first five minutes. LOL.

Later, when I started playing regularly in College, the first two characters I made (starting from scratch again) were Boris and Altalazar. Fortunately, these two incarnations lasted much longer - I think by the time I stopped with 1E, they had a nation, an army, many followers, and were F15 and W16 respectively. I must have made a hundred custom spells, too, along with a rather extensive Mage's guild.

Ok, now I've TOTALLY gotten off topic.

Dungeon Crawls have a certain simplicity for one on one play.

Isn't Keep on the Borderlands 2e? If so, would Return to Keep work?

Actually, if I recall, it is 1E Basic D&D, but there is a downloadable conversion here.

Uggg, that'd be all good if I was running it, but I'd have to convert it for the GM, and then there'd be no point to my playing in it. :(

http://DireKobold.com/

They have a system that generates dungeons on-demand for 1-8 PCs of various levels.

A subscription might be a good investment for your GM... or a gift subscription a good investment from you!
