D&D 5E Any Info on Hazards in 5E?

My PCs will be dealing with a hive of very large bumblebees soon (essentially reskinned stirges). I would like the fight to center on the soldier bees who will be defending the hive, and the swarm of worker bees just be an added hazardous element of some sort.

Trouble is, I haven't read anything on hazards in the new edition. Does anybody have any ideas on how to incorporate the workers as a hazard/fight modifier rather than an attacking/hit points/creature type thing?

The worker bee swarm could impose disadvantage on the PCs and advantage for the soldier bees. You could also run the worker bees as a swarm. Check the Cifal in Against the Slave Lords bestiary in the September playtest or Horde of the Dragon Queen rat swarm for ideas on a swarm. They could impose a poisoned condition on anyone in the swarm who fails a CON save or do poison damage.

EDIT: You could also look at the mold/slime in the September playtest bestiary for something more hazard oriented.
