Any of you written up any 4E knighthoods yet? Please share your thoughts and details.

I'm considering statting up some of the Warhamer world ones for 4e and would like some thoughts on mechanics of 4e before beginning.

For example, how are you applying various class effects for this "prestige class."

I've replaced the paladin class with my knight class.

As a knight, I currently have two build choices, paladin (LG), and templar (U). All knights use Strength as their primary stat. Paladins have Charisma as a modifier stat, and templars use wisdom.

Aside from this, another key change is that his class abilities aren't based on a set, secondary stat to modify them. One of the problems I had with the paladin was the requirement for both wisdom and charisma for their fundamental class abilities, leaving you with low Con or other stats. Woe betide you if you ever wanted any of the Dex feats later on.

So the power selections centre around Strength to hit, and either Wisdom or Charisma to modify, with the rare Charisma/Wisdom-based power to mix things up.

This allows the player to maximise Strength, give them a good modifier stat, and put points into Con or Dex for other purposes.

I've made one, but its really just a set of three paragon paths for player's from a specific region and who decided upon character creation they wanted to be a knight.
