Come on! Not a single bite?!

My cable modem is on a different floor and at the opposite end of the house from my XBox. My router does have a wireless access point, though, so when that wireless netcard comes out for the XBox...

I'm in exactly the same boat so my setup is wireless. All you need is a Wireless Bridge. I picked up a Linksys WET11 and it words great with my Netgear wireless router.

Hmm.... :)

Notice any speed issues? I ask because I'm looking at the Linksys site right now, and they also have the WGA54G listed, though I don't know that I need 54 MB (I don't think my access point supports 802.11g anyway).

Thanks for the info! I'll have to take a look at that.

No speed issues. Mine is an 802.11b network (11Mbps) and there's no performance difference between using the bridge and plugging straight into the router (I used to have the XBox plugged into the router and my computer plugged into the bridge).

i've just posted my comments on another site, Ill repeat them here.
As for the multi-player aspect I found that the game did quickly become a playground, more of a elaborate chat room if anything. The games became boring very quickly and few people really cared about who won or lost. The game quickly became a distraction to the conversation rather than vice versa.
