You might not necessarily need to post it right away (major religions is one that isn't necessary), but if someone asks for it, then you need to be able to provide it; or, if you're looking specifically for a cleric, then I'd say that you need to provide that information off the bat.

Fourth, some elements of the game seem a little overpowered.
Do you mind if I give you a few tips on starting a game out here, Khisanth? First off, I took a look at the characters. I don't know what kind of system you used to generate the stats, but they are quite poor. Now, I also know that you said that players would have to "flesh them out", 'them' being the characters; however, you have made just enough choices for the characters (feat selection, domain selection, equipment) to make "fleshing them out" very difficult. Second, the options for the players are too limited. Either a fighter (focusing on longswords) or a cleric (whose domains are planar and strength)? That's a little too restrictive. Admittedly, you might find people who are willing to go with that, and I'm not saying that your method is wrong. I'm just saying that it would be very difficult. If you broadened it, and said "fighter-types and cleric-types only", you might get a better turnout. Third, you don't say enough. When I read the initial post, it told me that the two players were sent to find the source of pollution for the Great River. Okay, now if I'm a player, I have some questions: who sent me? Where is the Great River? Are there towns near it, or is it in a rural area? What kind of landscape does the river flow through? If I'm the cleric, what deity do I follow that I get the planar and strength domains? What religion is primary here? These are all important questions that should be addressed. The first spell for the Planar domain - +1 to all rolls for the duration? That is a very powerful spell. Not necessarily at lower levels, but at 3rd or 4th, it could be very useful. You should specify what kind of bonus it is (or don't, if it's unnamed, but I wouldn't recommend that), and also define what it applies to. It's a little too open-ended, and a little too powerful, imo. Also, the granted power for that domain is incredibly powerful - I don't think I've ever heard of an ability that grants skill ranks. Skill bonuses? Yes. But actual ranks? No. I think you might want to rethink that ability. My suggestion would be to make it so that they can turn or rebuke outsiders, but that's just my 2 copper. Well, that was a little long-winded. Sorry about that. And please don't take any of this as offensive - just trying to help out. :) And good luck with your game!
