Where we get a bunch of fairly pointless conversations between characters (often featuring some Clark and Lana relationship angst) with background music of the latest pop band they are pimping for the week. Those things are driving me crazy. I really wish they used that time to flesh out the plot of the episode more, and then just used the last few minutes to drop future plot hooks. That, and the "everybody has superpowers" stuff is annoying./rantAnyway, I really enjoy Reaper. I think the Devil is portrayed fantastically, and the inter-relations between the characters is great. They even manage to make the romantic elements believable and unobtrusive. I was a little disappointed that the original episodes seemed to make the Reaper elements kind of throw-away (the "escaped soul of the week" idea), but the meta-plot is really starting to pick up nicely with these new neighbors being introduced.
