Message: <blockquote data-quote="GlassJaw" data-source="post: 4152929" data-attributes="member: 22103">This is an interesting, and one of the cooler subplots of the show.  I'm also glad they haven't really tried to explain the devil's fascination with Sam and have just let it play out.  It's just in the last episode that we learn that there are other Reapers that the devil has no interaction with at all.So I'm glad the writers have left us in the dark as to why the devil takes an interest in Sam so much.  I don't really think the devil is trying to corrupt Sam per se.  I mean he tempts Sam a lot but I don't think the devil ever really things Sam will take him up on his suggestions.  I think the devil is intrigued that Sam has been largely unaffected and uncorrupted by being a Reaper.</blockquote>
