Destroying both the taint and the city in the process.They bring friends to protect them though, since a whole bunch of bad guys and Forsaken show up to stop them once they realize what Rand is doing. It was the climax of the book. The coolest scene, IMO, since the Battle of Dumai's Wells in Book 6.End spoiler.</blockquote>
