Hi.

I like the niftyness of the Hackmaster screen, but I find Hackmaster to be *censored*.

What is on the Kalamar screen?

How Kalamar specific is it?

This is from Kenzer site:
"The ultimate DM shield and the essential accessory for any D&D or d20 Dungeon Master. Dozens of tables, charts and all new and beautiful artwork cover this amazing 24-panel screen! Everything a DM has ever imagined and longed for. You've seen the HackMaster GM Shield - now get ready for the D&D shield! Every essential d20 table is included, along with a host of other useful information, all at your fingertips. Spend more time playing, and less time searching for rules."

Sounds there's pretty generic on what's inside the screen from the description.
I'm waitting to get mine soon.

Kalamar DM Screen

Hey,

There will be a webtour for the screen up on our website shortly, which will have images and everything, but in the meantime, this will have to suffice.

If you are familiar with the HackMaster screen, the Kalamar screen has a similar format, with flipping panels on the inside. The far right most panels have all the Kalamar specific information in one place including a copy of the map, country reference, naming conventions, deities, etc. Some of this (like the random Inn or Ship name generator) can be used in any campaign. The rest, like the map, is Kalamar specific. I'd say this takes up less than 25% of the screen.

The rest of the screen is all generic D&D information that is useful, nay essential, for any D&D game. This is definitely a product that is useful for players of any campaign setting, but if you are hesitant, I encourage you to check out the web tour. It should be up by the end of the week.

Sounds nifty - when does it hit the stores, or has it already?

In a related vein - where's the atlas???
I have had my hopes up for that book for 2 months now and still it has not been published!

The web tour of the Kalamar screen is up now - check out www.kenzerco.com.

As for the Atlas, it's a late November/December release. We're putting the finishing touches on it, but it's still a lot of work. And press time will probably take a little longer than normal.

Please tell me I'm missing something and that the experience point values by character level and CR are indeed on this screen. I didn't see it. Ah, I didn't see it originally because it's not pulled out but the tour does mention that it is there so I'm hopeful.
