Anyone have their recent Rappan Athuk: Reloaded shipped from Amazon.com?

That is to say, not the pre-orders, but orders placed within the last week or so.

After seeing they supposedly had it in stock (and for $47), I placed an order last week. They said they would ship it today (22nd of August). AFAIK, they haven't shipped yet (unless they are late in updating that, which is actually pretty common with EA and Gamestop and other places like that), but they still list it as in stock.

Just curious. I'm trying to plan my budget for the next few months and $50 is a depressingly large chunk of it. So I want to know if I should count the $50 as definitely spent or just possibly.

Yup. Ordered mine last Sunday and it arrived like 2 or 3 days later. I didn't expect to get one given Necromancer's previous comments but wasn't overly concerned as that one was my second copy. :) Good luck with your order!

Placed an order via Amazon last week, they said they'd ship by the 22nd. Bought another copy from FRPGAMES.COM the next day. It shipped out from FRPGAMES a few days ago and I promptly cancelled my Amazon order. It appears that it's actually going to arrive from FRP! It cost substatially more than via Amazon, but I will actually receive one, unlike the suspicions I have about Amazon.... ;)

I went ahead and picked one up from Amazon for $47.00 two weeks ago, it arrived last week. They still have ptolus listed there too, but I really doubt that one will see the insides of a shipping package because they still show it as a pre-order. Besides, I don't think I will live long enough to run Ptolus in it's entrity unless I luck out and some gamers join me at the old folks home in about 30 years.

Hmmmm. So it sounds like they had them as of at least last Sunday, when Bret/Napftor. But orders latter than that (I think mine was monday night, after reading the thread here about them supposedly having them in stock) might not be fulfilled.

It is a special clause in the business plan. It is called the Santa Clause...

They may sell certain items at a loss in the hopes of getting ppl in the shop and buying more/other items with which the profits are made. Many RL stores do this. Dunno to which extend this tactic works for on-line stores where there is less room to place 'impulse items' etc. at locations where ppl are pretty much sure to notice them and wanting to buy them...

Amazon shipped two to me at the $22 price on the 12th but they vanished in the mail, so yesterday they shipped two more yesterday at no cost overnight and I received those. I did have to send them a few emails to make this happen, Including getting the replacement to ship, they seem to be having a problem getting this item out of the warehouse. I'd suggest to anyone who has ordered to hit the customer service dept. with some emails to spur them on.
